Still Life Drawing
Pre-Quarter Asssignment
This was a pre-quarter assignment for my drawing one class at SCAD. We just had to do a graphite rendering of one of our shoes and present it the first day of class.
Project 1
This was the first project in my drawing one class. The objective was to pick and choose to draw part of the still life in the middle of the room. Understanding composition, proportion, and value was important. This was done entirely in charcoal.
Project 2
This work was my second drawing for my drawing one class. We were assigned to groups where each member brought in an item of their choice. The group would come together and create a composition to draw. Once again, this was drawn completely with charcoal.
Project 3
This drawing was my first project for drawing two. The objective was to understand the symmetrical properties of wine glasses, as well as establishing a fast, steady workflow. This was drawn entirely with charcoal.
Project 4
This was the first drawing assignment I had in color for my drawing two class. The objective was to color the composition using only a complementary color scheme and black and white. The medium used consisted of blue, orange, black and white chalk pastels.
